Why should I choose Spirelight?
I like to let my images speak for themselves. However, my clients also tell me I am very easy to work with. I try to make your wedding day go as smoothly as possible. In addition, shooting a wedding is an all-day commitment for me, from the bride's preparations to the dance at the reception. My rates are also quite reasonable, and you have unlimited rights to the digital negatives.
What equipment do you use?
I shoot with a professional digital Nikon camera and lenses, assuring you high-quality images that can be printed at very large sizes. I always carry two backup cameras. I use natural light when available but also carry a wireless flash.
Can we keep the negatives?
Yes, the high-resolution files (digital negatives) are yours to keep and to copy or print as you wish.
Do you travel to cover weddings?
I will gladly travel outside Humboldt County for a reasonable fee, usually just gas and lodging if needed.
Do you offer an engagement portrait session?
If you can come to Eureka, I will include an engagement portrait session at no charge as part of your package.
Do you shoot in color or black and white?
I shoot in color but offer both a color and a hand-converted black and white version of every single image.
How would you define your style?
The majority of my wedding photography is candid. I try to capture the real emotions and experiences of your day. I will take traditional group shots of the wedding party and family as well.
